OCLT to develop 3 sites in Blackbird Leys

Oxfordshire Community Land Trust is set to develop at least 12 new, permanently affordable homes across three sites in Blackbird Leys, Oxford.

OCLT has worked in partnership with Oxford City Council and architects Transition by Design over the past few years to unlock these three brownfield sites, which are currently occupied by garages due to be demolished by the Council. You can read more on our project page.

The project will draw on some of the money awarded to the council from the government's Brownfield Land Release Fund, whose purpose is to regenerate brownfield land.

Following a press release by Oxford City Council, the story was picked up by BBC news.
